The Hard Rock Fest, now in its second year, is billed to be bigger and better than last year with the addition of a Film Festival!

The Hard Rock Festival was inspired by the stunning achievements of Rich Mayfield and Mark Stevenson, in the (very wet!) summer of 2007 when they completed their 'Hard Rock Challenge'. They climbed all 60 routes of the book 'Hard Rock', featuring the best of the best routes around the UK.

This feat had only previously been done by 2 climbers, both taking around 10years to do so. Rich and Mark did all of the routes in just 5 weeks, raising money for Mountain Rescue. Their quest continues to raise money, and with our help at the Hard Rock Festival, we aim to raise more money for the volunteers of the Mountain Rescue Teams of England, Scotland and Wales.
